i use firefox, and have installed an extension that allows you to decide whether to allow javascript from a website to run on your machine..when i'm in wincustomize there are quite a few different .com's asking to run javascript in my browser...as well as (obviously) wincustomize there are also

sitemeter.com
gamezone.com
intellitxt.com

i allow wincustomize (or else the website doesn't function correctly) but do not allow the others (website works fine)...what exactly do the other sites want to do? can someone tell me? is big brother watching?

sitemeter: If you scroll down to the bottom of the page you'll see a sitemeter icon. My guess would be that it's for monitoring WC traffic.

intelletext: intellitext is the little paid links that show up when you hover your mouse over a particular word or phrase. This is only seen if you do not have a WC or ODNT subscription.

gamezone: not sure, but Stardock also develops several games, so it may be a link of some kind to one of their gaming sites.

I think the gamezone is tied to the game ads (if you see them)

Yup, you are correct guys. Those other sites are either from ads running on the site or for statistical purposes.
